Featuring members of Dosser, Gloop’s melting pot glows red hot with an unending list of aggressive influences. Post-punk, No Wave, Doom Metal and Noise rock all make an appearance (sometimes simultaneously), creating epic unwieldy atmospheres that are somehow as heavy as they are ingratiating.

Hyper-political with a wry, quick-punch wit, Infinite Pizza straight riffz. The group’s flair for the dramatic means they’re equally capable of Blondie new wave-ry, and all-out hardcore assault. This one’s worth prepping for: sing-along lyrics front to back with a bit of shout for good measure.

A force to be reckoned with, feminist powerhouse War on Women have carved a place alongside punk icons past and present. Powerful, uncompromising, and as aggro as they are engaging, they’re everything Baltimore’s underground ought to be about. These days, National attention means we get them far less than we wish. Let’s welcome them home with open arms.

Credited alongside Black Flag and Bad Brains as hardcore’s earliest and most important acolytes, DIY punk royalty D.O.A. are seasoned beyond belief. Over the course of a 40-year career the band has been at the forefront of punk’s evolution, ushering in each new era with the exact ethos and aggression they honed in 1978.
